Noga Collins-Kreiner is a Senior Lecturer (PhD), in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Haifa, Israel and a member of the Centre for Tourism, Pilgrimage & Recreation Research at the University of Haifa, Israel. Her main research interests are: Religious Tourism, Pilgrimage and Tourism Development and Management. She is a consultant for the development plan of the region of the Sea of Galilee and currently involved in a multiple project, such as: “Religious Tourism and Politics in Israel” and “Planning Tourism at the Hula Lake”. She is also a resource editor of the “Annals of Tourism Research” and has published many papers on the topic of tourism, and especially religious tourism and pilgrimage, including a book named: Christian Tourism to the Holy Land: Pilgrimage during Security Crisis (2006).
