Coordinating Professor of the Department of Social Sciences of the School of Education and Social Sciences (ESECS) – Leiria Polytechnic Institute (IPL), where she has been teaching since 1988.

* Religious Tourism and Pilgrimage

* Geography of Religion (territory and spirituality, attraction and diffusion of religious phenomena, sanctuaries);

* Cultural tourism (itineraries, cultural heritage, identity and territory – geosymbols).
